The Japanese launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor without warning to all soldiers and to the entire world. Many of these men were either sleeping, fixing little things on the ships and offshore, and definitely off their guard. The day after the attack on Pearl Harbor the president of the United States declared War on Japan for killing hundreds of soldiers with no warning whatsoever. Congress declared war on the Empire of Japan even with major outrage breaking out about the attack and the late delivery of the note from the Japanese government breaking off relations with the U.S. government. The United States as a whole stepped up to the plate. The men and women from the Military soldiers to the nurses to the workers at home stood together and truely united to beat the enemy for what they did.

The President of the US decided it was need to create a declaration of War against Japn for their treasonous and hostile acts. Almost instantaneously Congress agreed almost 80/20 that the US will be now at war with Japan.
